Dreams are goals you would want to achieve as time passes on. The dream for me was to play in professional soccer team and make my family proud. During my junior year, I thought I was going to making the first steps of many to achieve my dream. I was about to sacrifice everything, but it wasn't possible, and it led to a downhill of my mental health
As young kids we tend to believe that our customs from where we live are normal things. At 13 years old, I was able to visit another country for the very first time. Here is what I experienced during my time there.
Raised in a low-income household, I noticed at an early age that my life was different than other people's lives around me. I started to play soccer at the age of 5 as my father basically forced me to play. I fell in love with the sport, and I kept playing ever since to where I am today as a student-athlete at Brevard College. As I grew up though I started to see the roadblocks life would give me, as well as the connections I would eventually make/lose during my life. I want to spread the information of my life experiences around the world for people to see different point of view and the way how I react to that roadblock to either imitate or avoid. I would also want give advice to others in certain situations that I have experienced.
